ABS and brake symbol stay on.

Need Help~

Car Model: Honda Accord JDM 2.0

Recently my ABS and brake symbol stay on whenever I start the engine.

I went to a workshop and they performed a diagnostic, troubleshooting and say the abs brake pump spoilt and charge me $800 for a recondition pump. I wonder whether the price is reasonable or not?

Can anyone refer me a trustworthy mechanic in the East? I am staying in Bedok.

I'm no expert and I'm not driving a Honda. But new ABS pump are not known to be cheap to replace for most make and models. I'm not sure about 800 for a recon 1, maybe you like to check with scrapyards in sungei kadut to see how much is it and if they have something for you to take off their hands.

Almost all of the scrapyards have moved out of Sungei Kadut or wind up their business. Go to Woodlands Industrial Park E for your scrapyard needs. Quite a few there.
