Loud screeching noise after brake pad changed

Is tat normal? Some say i need to skim rotor, some say leave it, it will go away by itself.. Any advice from any exp bro out here?

you using stock/OEM or some aftermarket brands? If it is a high temperature range pads it will always screech when cold.
