Any reputable shop at jb is the best bang for cost. Else sg depends on the shop, $30-50 plus additonal top up of coolant etc.

errr...my level can only open workshop har... kidding..

DIY can mean anything. If one is willing to do it, building a building can also be DIY. To me, DIY is about stripping engine, rebuilding gearbox. My satisfaction comes from the fact that my car will run on and on, with the proper specification, and done with the right respect for every parts, bolt and nut on the car.

Even when I DIY, I keep a full record of what was done on the car. This is something that is lacking in most workshop. And the owner does not even know what was done and what was changed...let alone with the 'understanding' of what was done and the problem just spiral on.

And yes, there are workshop that charge $5 - $10 to just change oil. I still have to use them once in a blue moon, so that I can dump my used oil.
Pls dont ask me for wkshop, as I know none...I only know it is safer and faster to fix cars on my own.
