Vibrations when stopping (Fit 2008)

Post by heeroyuy84 » Wed Jun 01, 2011 12:03 pm

Hi all,

I'm a newbie to driving and starting some modding here. I just changed my car batt from the factory given to a amaron 45mah. An upgrade from the 35mah.

Somehow I notice some slight changes to the car engine.

1) less noise from engine - Not sure good or bad.. :?

2) Some strong vibrations after stopping the car. - This is where I'm feel might be a problem.

When I first start the car, with or without swtiching on the AC the tachometer always stays at 1000r. Everything feels normal. After a short drive, start to feel a slight increase in vibrations when I stopped the car and that tachnometer reads around 600r.. (Please refer to below image)

My car model.

Honda Fit 2008 GE version

From my past experience with my mum's old car, it's a problem but my situations is not as bad as hers. The vibrations will eventually stop her car's engine..

So I'm seeking out some advice from you guys. Hope someone can advise me.

Thank you

Try washing throttle body or getting a mech to check your IACV (idle air control valve)

Just a suggestion. Try back old battery. If problem solved than battery loh. If problem persist the battery just triggered something else. Go to a doctor.
