ENGINE CHECK LIGHT
Hi, i'm new in the forum. Bought it 1 year ago, previous owner install a carbon charger(a fan inside the air filter intake)
i've removed it due to the fan not working. than the engine check light came on. I than install a hks open pod hoping to solve the problem. the check light indicating the fuel intake too rich, which is due to air & fuel ratio not correct. So can anyone advise me wat should i do next, the hks open pod cost me $350 and did not solve the problem. Not much $$$ to left, pls help. ANYONE HAD THE SAME EXPERIENCE?

change air intake,
engine light came out.
change back to stock, still engine light come out.
reseet ecu. then engine light off.
I have reset at least more than 3 time but no use, went malaysia today, mechanic told me to try changing fuel regulator, don't know should i change. Anyone can advice?
wat does the fuel regulator got to do w this problem..
ur issue here is because the air sensor at the air intake is reading too much air..due to the open pod..
its is due to the position of tat sensor..too close to the open pod and the intake will cause ecu to throw out this error code..
restting the ecu should solve it..but u mention u alr reset it 3 time..
how did u reset it?
try driving it for a while more..let the ecu relearn..sometimes it will jus go away..

Re: ENGINE CHECK LIGHT ON MY 1.7 EDIX
==> problem could have caused by the positioning of the air-flow sensor... make sure the sensor is about 6" away from the open pod filter....rkam81 wrote:Hi, i'm new in the forum.
