Hi
Thanks for the help, jus went to a workshop today at sin ming that do air con service to get my problem solve. Mech found out that the Air con coil got problem. Coil was stained with some kind of yellowish oil like that all over the surface. Thats why got smell and watery on my bottom floor mat. The coil was taken out fr my very own eyes and shown it to me. Needed to change the whole Air con coil, Damage was $280 for a Australia
brand not orginal fr Kah motor plus labour charge of $120. Tell me its ok wan and and they already got fix for some FD s and no complain fr them. offer to give me a 3 months warranty. Said orginal will cost $400 plus excluding labour charge and they told me right now market currently no stock for orginal coil, Don know real or not... Damn!!!
No choice but to replace it for that Australia Brand cos alot of things had been dismantle and still they will charge me labour for $120 if i don wish to change. Wonder any Bros here got change the coil before? I think Labour charge for 120 bucks to dismantle and check my coil is very EXPENSIVE!

where did you go to do this aircon check?
troubleshooting is troublesome AND not cheap if you go to a new workshop - they dunno you, and your car... so charge you for their labour lor...
try doing this in Europe or USA or Australia/NZ... labour is USD$50-80 per hour... even if they know you. only in ASIA (sans Japan and possibly Korea) can u get so cheep labour albeit by un-paper-qualified-experience-by-OJT-trial-and-error-mechanic. but still, it's NOT free...else they eat wat?
that said, there are some reputable (word-of-mouth as usual) air-con specialists out there who charge 'reasonable' (pls dun confuse reasonable with cheep.. it's not cheep) rates and do a good job for their work. Do browse around the SHC folders... many members share such information freely.

Freedom isn't Free, it costs people like you and me... Freedom costs a buck 'o five....
