How to change the CP2 fog light and "small" light

Hi there,

Just now went to Philips warehouse sales. Tempted to change the CP2 fog light to philips white light blub and the "small" light to white too to match the CP2 default HID white light.

the Philips fog light is model H11. at $60. Izzit cheap for a pair of it?
And the "small" light can get at a pair at $10 with PwP else its $15.

So is the price reasonable?

And any guide on how to change the bulb? i see see look look at the engine bay to see how to change the 'small' light. like a bit of stuff need to be removed.

And for the fog light. like very hard to change too...........

Any advice?

yo,

The small light u r refering to is called the "pole" light. Yes, u k self change the current one with any T10 type of bulbs....$10 a pair may get u those poor quality type...look for led type....now market got as many as 17 leds (or more) on the T10 socket....it gives u a bright and white look. Autobac Ubi is also selling but it more ex compare to other places...

For the fog light, u need to get a workshop to assist, cos u need to access thru your wheel fenders area and its going to get very dirty and messy.....I did mine and change it to HID 8K!!

As fog light is only allowed to be used during rainy days, this 8K (white bluish) light wont hurt pple eyes but draw attention...and thats what u need...Singapore roads are all too bright already...IMO..

"small" light (Usually on at evening or raining time)
Normal beam light (Usually on at nite)&
High beam light

So to confirm. the "small" light is the "pole" light?

The bulb is the very small one. that is fitted on the top corner of the HID head light unit within.

So i'm a bit blur. as the "small" light bulb is quite small. like a led lite size. So dun see how it can fit those with 17 leds one?

If u talking about those wannabe Audi day light type. I dun like to be Audi wannabe. heez....

As the car is nearing the 50k servicing soon. Dun know can ask KM to help me fit the bulb? or KM got sell white bulb too?

the "small" light is termed "Position" light in the manual.

Yes, yr small bulb is pole or position bulb. Its T10 size. Dont ask KM, I doubt they will provide such service cos they will talk about warranty....sianz..

Any Audio shop k get T10. Go take a look at Autobac display n u will see what I mean on "17 led"....mine alr fitted with such bulbs. They make it slim n long to fit into the small opening of our pole light.
