Hi bro..

got my 2nd hand FD4 auto...

Currently after driving a month or so, i notice that when moving off and its change to 2nd gear, i heard some cranking (or rather sort of metal vibration) for 1-2 sec.....
sometime it is like clutch is not put into gear properly ( in term of manual gearing).. after much trying and testing.. i found that usually at 1st gear when hit 2.3-2.5k rpm, the gear will engage into 2nd and that is the sound was heard. this sound thing do not alway happen.. how and wat causes it is still unknown to me.

ANyone had this experiece??
Send for checking, no firm result.. end up do some routine checking.. mech feedback that the tension and timing belt are loose... good to change it.

not sure if this is the problem.. need u experience for some advice.

wat the millage, try changing ATF .

have you figured it out what is the problem ? I got similar situation as you too..
