Great performance parts:
Fuel Chargers - 5 x fuel line magnets $150 each.
Broquet high end fuel enhancers $3k
ADM Electric Supercharger $700 (this is not illegal mod) - this removes the heavy and bulky stock airbox assembly.
Car lightening programme: Remove all unnecessary weight from car - even a spare tissue box is extra unnecessary weight. Keep 1 parking coupon booklet in car per type i.e. 50 cents and 1 dollar or another variant. More is extra weight.
Get ultra light rims for your car. it will save weight, and enhance acceleration performance. e.g. Original CE28 rims 16 inch with Toyo T1R lightweight tyres.
Change to lightweight 4pot BBKs with 286mm rotors. saves a lot of weight! $2.5k for VTTRs? check out the prices... eSpec, etc Taiwan type. Lightest and Bestest include Brembo and AP Racing and Stoptech... These are triple the price ... Taiwan stuff good enough for normal use.
Car mat - dun use the THICK and HEAVY 3M style mats... thin and light mats will do. save $$$ too...
keep your stock audio setup. the stock speakers are lightweight and useful to keep up with the news and background music. any ICE will add at least a few KG to your car's total weight. safe $$$ by not upgrading.
If you had piggybacked your ride... get a good tuner to tune it to ultra economy mode and only have high power after 5,500rpm, and full throttle.
oh ya... if you like, you should also swap out your driver and passenger seats for the semi bucket sports seats... you will be amazed at the weight of the stock seats vs the semi buckets... cheep sports bucket seats $500-$800 a pair including rails and install?
you can also change to coilovers. adjust to normal height... the stock shock and springs are VERY heavy compared to the coilovers... BC will do nicely - economical to buy AND replace... BC around $1.6-$2k for FD?
The above should help a lot...
