exhaust

Post by alvinhoo » Fri Apr 10, 2009 3:43 pm

Hi All,
Anyone using those Op*@#$ed exhaust? does it feel laggy in the pick up? I am using the enclosed open pod air intake. like simota type, air filter inside a can. and a cai to the front of the bumper.
If i change back to orginal stock exhaust or original stock air box with the cai still there and using those paper filter, will it be better in the pick up?
Thanks everyone.

The lag happens during start off, so I should change to open pod filter with CAI or should I just change back to stock exhaust? Please kindly advise. Thanks

if ur EG9 is manual...having a CAI w/ operated exhaust should not make ur car laggy...instead should make ur car feel like having more HP

Mine is a manuel, but lags during first gear start off. Power always comes in after 3k rpm, but the car will be loud by then...

changing your intake & exos at the same time will not let you find out what's wrong with your car ... take one step at a time bro

an open pod setup will impact your lower end driving (as far as i know)..

unless u go for tuning, which will eliminate the "lethargic-ness"
