I suspect my key's immobiliser RFID is getting faulty. Once a while, whilst driving, the immobiliser alarm will start (horn with hazard lights). I think that's standard protocol for our car when it suspects it's "stolen"?
If I stop, press unlock and start the car again, it's back to normal.
I'm going to try driving around with my spare key to see if the problem persists. If not, then it's my regular key's RFID.
Anyone else came across similar issues like this?

Immobliser
Hi..
I thought the immobiliser is used to "authenticate" during the engine starting phase?
If you already is driving, then I would think it could be something else, maybe the alarm.
I used to have problem with my immobiliser in the key and the symptom is that the car simply refuses to start, until i use my spare key. KM changed the electronics in there for me before it finally works well till now.

KM Mandai solved the problem. There's a earthing contact on the alarm sensor that came loose over time. That explained why the alarm was triggered randomly regardless if I was driving or the car at standstill.
I have to state the guys at KM Mandai were very good and meticulous in going over the standard and my custom wiring.
