Qns on diy remove unichip

hi all bros, my fren thinking of removing his unichip himself from his es5 civic..

is it possible to juz plug out e unichip?

would e car b able to run after dat?

any side effects?

it is possible on the older ecu versions where u can just unplug the fuse to reset back to default maps after unplugging and rerouting the unichip.

however i suggest going to a workshop that is familiar with it, i'll rather not
take chances.
