Hope you guys can give me some advice. My engine indicator sometime will light up and the car seem to lose power. My friend say could the problem could be due to a faulty throttle body. You guys have any clue?

Thanks Airborne. Not exactly the same. So i guess the only way to fix it is to send to the workshop. You got your fix already?

not yet man .. still cant find time to get it done.

i understand theres a mechanic @ SK Garage (intro-ed by some brothers here) thats really good with civics. you might wanna try there : )

hmhm bro u mean u rev to 9.5k then the light comes on and the car starts jerking?

Nope! happened twice, think never warm up the engine and i rev too high. Could it be that? At least it doesn't happen anymore.

fixed engine mounting.. atf fluid topup.. changed spark plugs to bosch iridium.. flushed throttle body and intake manifold ..

problems solved.. : )

My previous ride also had the same probs as yours. Did the flushing on the throttle then its ok liao.
