Hi,

I am checking, for Vtec controller, can it control the air and fuel before VTEC cut in? Mean RPM between 900 RPM to 3000 RPM. can it be control fuel and air more?

2nd , Vtec controller can control when to cut in right?

==> if you're looking at something that controls the airflow and VTEC engagement, u can consider APEXi AFC-Neo or VAFC-II.

thanks. what abt v-tech controller? can do the same thing? controling the air and fuel.

==> both APEXi AFC-Neo and VAFC-II has VTEC control feature ontop of the ability to manage the air flow.... btw, which Civic are you driving?

vafc and afc neo can do the job..but..some guys told me that they find that vafc is actually better than afc neo..i dont know why cause i only used an afc neo and never a vafc for my ex car

anyone advise what is afc neo for?

beside can control Vtec, can it control fuel as is under fuel managment .

but reading the spec, every setting is about air and not fuel setting. can this also adjust how much fuel without adjust the air?

adjusting air input will con ur ecu into richening your car. vafc n neo will do that. If you want injector control .. you will have to go for slightly more advanced ecu pigs like emanage.

wat abt the difference btw unichip-q (or any other versions..) and apexi afc neo?
Do they perform the same task.. as in getting one of them will do or they have different functions?

I'm driving CL7A, which brand is cost effective? does these brands hav all these features in 1? like: IVTEC controll, remove speedcut and manage air & fuel ?

Im using a piggyback vtec controller just like the spoons vtec controller.It controls the vtec and nothing else.

To get the best engagement. U need to dyno it. Set it to engage at 7k rpm and look at the chart. the point where it dips it where the vtec needs to be engaged. U need to locate the highest rpm at which the hp dies on the non-VTEC lobe...then set it at that rpm then - 200rpm.Mine peaks at 5300k and i set at 5100k

But its still not optimize until u set the wide open throttle fuel map. So thats where the vafc,unichip and the others come in handy.

Im just happy i see the vtec light on .
