Re: Tein HA adjustment
that little knob is to tune the damping force. you got to turn it FULL clockwise to hardest setting 1st, then turn counter clock wise 8 clicks (factory setting) if not hard enough, turn full clockwise , then 1 click lesser (7 clicks)KlowN wrote:hey bros.

i think tein HA is 16 hardness settings. 1 being hardest, 16 being softest.
cheers
more clicks= more soft. the turn screw can go more then 16 clicks, but more then the recommended 16 clicks, the damper might spoil easily.KlowN wrote:meaning not too hard?floser75 wrote:Point to add...
Try not to exceed the 16th click (anti-clockwise from hardest).
The damper will up lorry very fast.

As a rule of thumb, always start off by turning the knob fully clockwise, which is hardest. Then slowly go anti-clockwise click by click to find the setting you feel best for comfort and handling. Once u have reach 16 clicks, u shld not go further. If u still find it too hard at 16, then it is time to change spring rate or even the coilover.

Your questions are way beyond the scope of this thread. It is better for you to post a new thread.
PS: Damper and tyre pressure are just 2 out of many variables you will need to tune for track. The same setting that works for 1 car may not necessarily work for another. You will need to experiment with and also find something that matches your driving style. Hope I didn't frighten u away!
