Air Con making vibrating noise

My City 4g making a loud noise when the compressor starts. Gets louder when I rev. Sounds like compressor got problem but the air is still very cold. Anyone ever experience b4? I am hoping it's not compressor problem cos I think it is about $800 to replace.
