Accord Euro R - Change Power Steering / MTF Fluid

Post by gonegolf » Sat Jun 18, 2011 10:08 am

Hi, how often do you change your power steering fluid or Manual Transmission Fluid ?

Anyone with the correct part number for both ?

Thanks

Euro R is using electronic steering... no power steering fluid.

manual trans fluid, u mean the clutch fluid? Can use any brake oil that is mentioned on the clutch oil cap. Got 1 dot (5.1?) canot use. Can't remember the number.
Ex: Honda Civic SiR (EK4) > Hyundai Avante
Current : Honda Accord Euro-R (CL7R) > BMW 328i (F30)

clutch and brake fluids are the same -- and the top-up bottles are next to each other in the engine bay.

transmission fluid is different -- fill and drain plugs/bolts are on the transmission casing.

Hi, thanks for the information.

I am changing the manual transmission oil every other servicing too. There is a noticeable difference after the change.

Thanks for the quick replies to all
