How to transfer exhaust ?

Post by ironstarz » Thu Apr 14, 2011 9:23 pm

I am getting a HKS exhaust from my friend. He will be passing me the cert soon , so prob i will head down to a shop to do the swapping . I understand that there is a need for inspection. So i just need to bring the cert down to the inspection center or is there any transfer form etc to be filled ?

1. go to the shop that the exos was bought from and get the letter of xfr.
2. go to lta for inspection.

However, things may have changed. This is how I did mine
1. same as above and depending on shop, (I was told)they may do pt. 3 for you. If they do for you, then you just have to wait for letter and go to insp
2. Go to sing ming vicom but was rejected cos there was no reference code, a 10-digit code, that they were lookin for.
3. Go online, VITAS, register the exos and wait for the letter from LTA.
4. Go any insp centre and get it certified.

Hope this helps...
