Hi all, just got a 2nd Edix 2.0A cng 2 weeks back.
Engine casket leaking(changed), steering pump spoilt(changed).
16" tires internal botak(changed to 18" rims & tires)
But I realised the rear wheels look like this / \.
I went to do alignment and the mechanic told me need to changed the rear wheel arms to spc adjustable type which cost $500!
Need advise from u guys whether there is a need to do this as I saw many Edix the rear also like this. Tia.
Do u guys have so many problems with this car?
Mine is only 2.5yrs old. My previous Honda fit which I drove for 4.5yrs don't have so much problems leh.

1. Yes, Edix rear camber and toe are slightly weird. Even the legendary Kenny remarked that a stock Edix can never be aligned perfectly (ok nothing can be perfect but should at least be close). But from the way you described your rear camber, it sounds like it's a case of lowering by too much or prolonged overloading at the rear cabin of the car.
2. I got mine used as well at 3 years and it's been fine for a year now. It really depends on how much homework you did before you put money down on the car. Buying 2nd hand will always carry a certain amount of risk but you can minimise it by sending it for inspection or ask an experienced friend along to check it out. If you didn't spot the botak tyres before you bought it, that can only be due to you neglecting to check. But of course the negative camber couldn't have helped.

Bro, thanks for the reply. Btw how much u do it at kenny's?
I was quoted by him for $270 to modify the original arms.
Just wondering if it is adjustable or just extend the length. Also the lifespan of it?
