HELP NEEDED. 'Bird chirping' sound coming from air-con.

Post by TOPHONDA » Mon Jan 03, 2011 8:38 pm

Hi all. I own a 2005 Honda civic and I have this 'bird-chirping' sound coming from somewhere near the air-con belt pulley area on the right side of engine bay area when the air-con kicks in in the morning for about 2 weeks now. The sound disappears when I off the air-con or when the car warms up after say 3-5 mins.
Any bros here know what is wrong and what can I do about it?
Air-con and timing belt was replaced about 6 months ago.

I also had this problem after the fan belt was changed. Brought to another workshop and the mechanic adjusted for me. He just tighten some bolts and the problem never came back. Seemed that the person who changed the belt did not do a thorough job.
