I am thinking of installing Apexi open pod and then go for tuning.
I read that low end will lag if install open pod on auto car. I 'cant afford" any more low end loss. Will open pod + tunning improve my low end?

I used to drive with open pod,
not good for low end, so what i did was insert a
intake hose and duct it somewhere where there's
air ram, i chose not to cut a hole in my bumper so i just squeezed it through my bumper's grill, after this hose is being ducted properly i inserted it onto the bottom side of my
stock airbox which comes with a hole already and lastly i throw in a
stainless steel drop in air-filter, effect was great for me, low end significantly increased and my FC also dropped, high end cannot pull as hard as open pod but the low end becomes much better. i was running a
stock ECU with no piggyback no tuning, very enjoyable daily driving experience i would say, but if wanna play with people high end might lose out, for your case overtaking on daily drive would become an ease.
Other tips for getting better acceleration
-
Downsize rims if you're using big big ones
-Don't save on servicing,
use good oil
-Dun change to aftermarket big big exos, sound nice but lose backpressure and power, just go
operated the stock muffler good enough,
don't de-cat
all these are simple simple stuffs to gain acceleration, still got alot of small small stuffs that can help, not talking about big mods like turbo.
