Just wondering if u know how to DIY change brake pads and rotors? I start gg track liao so want to buy a set of performance ones esp for track.. cheers!!
haha the guys told me abt your track driving.. don't trail the brakes so much they'll overheat, plan your braking zones.. talk to joe/paul/ultrabear etc the rest of the more experienced trackkers
changing brake pads/rotors is very easy.. but do you know why nobody DIY's it? coz the price of a set normally includes installation

you won't save any $ by installing it yourself.. if you really wana learn how to do it.. come down for the next DIY session.. i'll show you how to dismantle your brakes and put them back together again

the pads/rotor can be a 1-man job, the calipers is a 2-man job coz you'll need someone to pump the brakes while you bleed the lines abit.. that's if you really want to try haha
while we're on this topic.. i should state
joon's rules of DIY.. it only applies to me.. but you guys might find it helpful:
1. Know your limits!! Some jobs require special tools.. attempting those would be foolish
2. Money can earn back, Time cannot

so if you got no time, either plan a schedule or pay a good garage to do it.. prioritise
3. Get the Service Manual, and do your research.. not having it limits the work you can do on the car.. some bro posted a link on it some time ago.. you can download them online..
http://www.hondahookup.com/manuals/ if you are a true car enthusiast, instead of reading all the dream/tuner car magazines about cars you can't have, spending some time reading the service manual of your own car will increase your knowledge 1000%.. and you'll understand why when i say some of the workshops here are full of shit
4. DIY is about fun, learning and interacting with other car enthusiasts
