Not at all. However, you must condition your engine at optimium state by regular changing engine oil. You may need to change even before standard maintenance schedule i.e 10K for syn oil.
Honda engine is built to rev to redline. No problem

no worries just do it, but don`t go bouncing off the rev limiter, its not gonna produce any more horses even if you hit 8k

once a while i rev up to 8.2k until rev cut...
it shud be healthy for ur engine to clear the carbon deposit,
in the case that ur engine is in very good condition

once every day i would rev it up to 9k, and if time and got leave to burn, i would drive it down to somewhere far in the north to really clear up the carbon, when arrived sg the engine sure will feel lively and more responsive

actually with regular servicing, a lightly modded engine also can rev forever, drive hard service it harder, without proper maintenence give you the best car also will chui one

I think differently. If want to Rev & speed for whatever reason, better take good care of engine. No maintenance equally - cannot race type.
Don even think of keeping pace. Sure smell smoke only
