Post by intotead » Thu Dec 03, 2009 9:38 am

hi all. this few day i can hear a small screeching sound from the back of my car and i thought is the spare tire or jack, so i take out and tighten it all and had check all the thing that all loose, but the sound still have. the thing is when i go pass hump or the road not even my back will have a screeching sound like metal rusty sound. Sound like ee ee ee .i went to my workshop and he told me maybe is my suspension nuts loose so have that sound, but after tighten all the nuts it still the same leh. the sound still have. Any one have this same problem or is it maybe my suspension wear and tear so sound come out already. It only happen when it cold and at night, if hot day sound mostly cannot hear. i think is because expand and contact. Need Advise from u guys out there.... the sound is a pain in the ass leh ....... My car Jazz 07 ,is 2 years old and mileage is at 92000km plus

i had something like what you've described on my previous car (corolla)... a weird sound when going over bumps (and when turning).

it was due to oil in the suspension leaking internally (from the compressed side to the non-compressed side).

edit: off topic... u clock 92,000 mileage in 2 years?!?! where have you been driving!?
