HiD issue!

hi guys out !! really nid yr help!
i am pretty sick of the stock lights which is yellow white and i wish to change it to blue hid! But i heard the hid conversion is pretty ex (got not much money! :cry: ) so i was planing to buy a blue white bulb and install it myself but does it fit well? and legal?
and also i saw a pair of white blue bulbs in fairprice extra! duno wherther it suits my car and legal?

pls reply me!!! thanks guys! :o

i think you can just drive down to any accessories shop (autobacs, mcwell etc) and ask them to help check the bulb size. perhaps you can ask if the voltage or watts (im not sure here) is compatible. usually they will install it for you at a small price but you can attempt it yourself and diy.

let us know how it goes : ) im a noob diy-er myself too hehe

white lights are never legal unless factory fitted HID

if yours a 1.8 then you need to switch max 4000k HID
but its still a bit yellowish (you'll enjoyed a few secs of white when starting)

since yours a triple headlamp it should be under the same as fd civic
HB3/4, double check with the shop to confirm

do you know hid bulbs cost a bomb each?

so bro u mean i gonna nid the whole Hid conversion to be done? thats very ex man :cry: !!! btw i'm a noob diy-er too :lol:

oh i will have a check with some shops, thanks for yr advice!
those Hid bulbs i saw in ntuc cost less den 30 :twisted: !!! so i was planning if it fits!!! :lol: but i will prefer abit blue blue type, duno wherther its approve anot......... :(

if u want u can change to HID ..... will cost about $250+ (no high / low beam) i did it on my Vios last time for about $400+ (with high/low beam)

Don't change to HID lah. Will keep getting cursed by the driver in front of you. Just get the OSRAM night breaker bright enough already.

isnt HID kits in the market now less than $200 including installation?

There's many many many shops doing this, just need to find a reputable one and get a good installation done.

lols, i got think of that la but since alot ppl do that and hurt my eye now is the time i'm going to revenge!!! :lol:
