Types Of Strut Bars & Under Carridge Braces
Hey! I know strut bar got front and rear then still got other types?
Then what about under carridge braces? I saw got 2 point, 4 point then got front, rear, middle in many shapes and sizes. Installing under carridge for what uses? What's the difference between front braces, middle and rear?

Okay. I'm going to install all this parts for Honda Fit. Going to use it for better handling and stability during cornering. I heard that installing strut bars etc strenthens the car chassis as well as stiffness but isn't it more dangerous during cornering when your car is too stiff? Is it worth installing all these parts?
I suggest u should try the strut bar 1st, this is the most common mod (and important too), if u still not satisfied u ride handling, then u may consider rest of the bar.....limhengleong wrote:Okay. track setup? best to spot weld the chasis. no need any bars after that...
of course, there will be a whole truckload of other mods to get your car modded into a track car...
but imho, stock oso can run on track during track day. we do it to get to know the limits of our car at current level, not drive a competition... add so many things, just adds weight, and some things illegal just to go faster and faster...
no point... if you can handle your car in current form, or slightly improved suspensions and brakes, and tyres... you already an improved driver.
faster is an endless and bottomless process... who got more $$$ can go faster...
strut bars... just help a little bit... one or two enough... too many might have negative effects... and affect your car's accident crumple zones...
just my 2 cents. and yes i drove on track too... driver awareness of his car's limitations and situational awareness is the most important thing...
a few bars won't improve anything if driver can't tell if his car is rolling or sliding... and worse, can't tell if his car can stop in THAT distance or not...

yea but if u get into a accident chances of the body giving way are quite high as theres not much or even no flex at all..MCDS wrote:track setup? best to spot weld the chasis. no need any bars after that...
