yah lor, i was originally considering othe LX version but chose the non-LX version in the end.

1) Cost. I was very broke :P
2) I can do without foldable mirror. In my previous family car, I hardly fold the mirrors, eventhough it was just a button away. Anyway, the mirrors aren't difficult to fold manually.
3) Fog lamps. I have no use for it
4) Chromed door handles. I can do without also.
5) Foldable rear seat with arm rest. I found it a pity that foldable rear seats wasn't included as a standard for all 5G models. But anyway for me, the big boot compensated this and I don't really have long items that I ferry around in the boot.
6) Signal indicator lights on the wing mirrors. I can do without these too, though it's quite common in many new cars.
7) Stock integrated mp3/CD player. I didn't like it and I wanted to install a touchscreen player and reverse camera. Kinda odd if I were to install a monitor just for this purpose, which probably will have to be placed on the dashboard.
8) Paddleshifts. I'm lazy and can make do with the normal gear shift for AT.

that's all i can recall :P

i wanna change the horn.... stock one not scary enuff haha

kaoehldi009 wrote:Hey bros, was wondering the new city compared to the new avante and cerato forte, which is better out of the three..
i test drive the 2 before settle for city09

Avante S does not come with Manual, otherwise i might have consider it. the normal avante interior is not nice and have to hopyp or change. driving wise, quite ok. most important is price is low. can almost buy 2 compared to city. Avante S comes with automatic climatic control.

Forte is a very nice car but the material used inside looks cheap but spec wise, i feel is the best among the 3. if consider forte, go for forte SX. 17inch rim and a feature that is found on WRC?, 6 cd changer and many automatic lighting. i drop forte cos the car is so much heavier than city. so no matter how it will consume moe petrol. but i think the weight partly due to a larger fuel tank. but forte is very nice. many on the road now.

City i buy cos of the brand issue and the so called ivtec technology. interior look a bit more classy compared to the other 2. feature wise i find is the lowest..no climatic control, 1 cd player. i expect quality for this city after so many good review. maybe due to high priced car, not many on the road, so people tends to have a look again. but seriously if you got cash. civic is still better. i ride before. so much better. but i still on budget..

go and test drive and have a feel. test drive is free.
