HELP !

Post by Dscheng » Tue May 19, 2009 11:26 am

Hi,

My prosport vacuum gauge sometime will keep blinking like the background light on or off and the needles nor working. But after 5 min, it return to normal. Does anyone know wht is the problem? The air pipe drop off ? I remember when fixing my gauge, my mech never fix the fliter. Is that causing this problem? And when i step hard on my gas, the vaccum gauge show warning or peak. Is it normal? Please kindly advise me, thanks.

best is to check with the installer who did this... but judging from your description, it does not seem normal on a Prosport ?

electronic gadgets are sometimes really hard to comment...

once i had upgraded my ECU.... one minute i was driving fine, later the vehicle was left stranded

towed back to my tuner and found out that the mechanic (being a greenhorn) did not connect the wiring into the harness correctly ....tough luck!
