Yah..the jerk is noticable during 1k run-in period... now mileage @ 3k+ cant even feel a single bit

Regarding the FC calculation, simply drive till the empty tank indicator lights up. Pump full tank, record the quantity pumped on the receipt. Reset yr trip 'A' meter to 0, and drive till yr next pump. Take the mileage clocked & divide wif the no. of litres pumped.. WA LAH..u gt yr fc reading.

another question on our 5G. not sure if it happens to MT. There is a 'churning' sound coming probably from the engine side. the sound gets louder after higher speed/stepping harder on the accelerator. It sounds like a belt churning, comes and goes and doesn't have any distinct pattern observed yet for the occurrence.

any idea?

saw a Taffeta White 09 city at ponggol marina there... further in... is it call ponggol beach ?? i 1st time go there... SJN5**** mine SJN1**** same as urs basic model... Taffeta White also.... just drop here say hi... if u happen to be in this forum too...

Thanks for the FC calculation guide. I saw the Poll on the FC for MT & AT somewhere in this forum for 5G City.

Btw,I wonder have anyone started to lower their ride with a change of their orig. coilovers to an aftermarket coillover in order to have a lower centre of gravity when cornering ? Somehow I dislike the feel of a TALL ride when coming to a bend. Do u guys feel the same ?

Hi all,

I went for my 1k servicing yesterday and asked the service advisor to check out the 'churning' sound.

The finding was that the metal plate (is it called rotor plate) behind the brake disc was rubbing against the brake disc. They have since adjusted and the sound no longer happens.

so 5G bros, you may wanna take note of this and get it fixed asap since i'd think it's a manufacturing issue.

How much were u charged for yr 1k servicing?Need to leave car for a day or can wait?Just need to change oil right?
