Gen8 Accord head unit
This is just a normal two din unit you can buy anywhere (Alpine, Pioneer or Kenwood) and just add a panel or bracket ... but just not OE looking enough. The one we recommending is keeping the OE look and you still get a 8" touchscreen LCD screen with all the functions
Maybe we are talking about different things

Thx Les but I have seen the installation u mentioned herewith. In fact, I have seen a better one that is not China made and there is no need to have another additional CD insert at the bottom.Les_RS4 wrote:This is just a normal two din unit you can buy anywhere (Alpine, Pioneer or Kenwood) and just add a panel or bracket ... but just not OE looking enough. However, both set up are not ergonomic and driver needs to stretch and move forward to reach the sensor touch screen.
One of the set up even come with hand held remote control. But I felt it was a waste of the purpose of having a sensor touch screen. Just my opinion.
Cheers.

hi bros, sori for the long wait....was very much tie up with work, finally managed to change my HU using a 2DIN panel. Here's the results :
After installing my Alpine W502E DVD HU...

Found it too boring on the panel & plain, so sent it for printing..

Then re-install it into my ride again.....

Sori, pic taken using my iphone...so not very clear....
