Need help in details

Post by Malifax » Tue Mar 03, 2009 12:49 am

Hi everyone, i am new to this forum.
I am very very keen on getting a civic but there are some questions that i would like to ask the fellow brothers and sisters here before i can make up my choice.
What is the different between the esi or the vti one.
Which one is better.
If i get a 6k+ esi and renew coe now, will it be around 10K only?
The VTI already newed 10 years one more wu hua or i get a old one renew coe myself more wu hua. And is it very hard to maintain this car because of its age?
Please help me. Thanks!

You shld posted in the EG/EK section for more response...

Anyway to answer some of your questions:

VTI - DOHC Vtec, more power and engine rev higher.

ESI - SOHC Vtec, slightly lower power and rev. Offer price shld be lower than VTI for same age and COE.

6K+ ESI - I dun think you can find such low price. If u really do, better check the car thoroughly for any major wear and tear.

Civic EG around this age for sure will have wear and tear problems, very much depends on how previous ownerS take care of them.

Whether to get a just renewed COE EG or buy a remaining 2.5yrs EG and then renew yourself, is very much up to you. work out the sums and you'll get the answer...
