I m new to the site and would like to seek some questions regarding the city. I had made an order for the car too and currently are waiting for the COE. I would like to ask the current driver who had the orginal tyres fitted, whats the rating like and would hope to get advice if they should be replace.
from fjc, i realised tyres of tyres we get for e 16inches from honda are of 185/55/16 type. In future these size of tyres are hard to find in the aftermarket.

195 width tyres might fit but speedo will need recalibration. the closest tyres we can find w/o recab is 205/50/16 which has 0.2% error. However, the stock rims might not fit anymore

This is the only trouble i find with e stock tyres. for me, i will wait for stock tyres to wear out den say ba.

any bros out there correct me if im wrong. This is wad i learned from other bros in fjc.

u r absolutely correct but i think 195/50/R16 or 195/55/R16 would be better fit into that ori rims which got only 6.0JJ but of coz the error will be much more different compare to 205/50R16 and 195/50/R16 or 195/55/R16 are rare in the market also. How to recalibrate the odometer?

i have a question for those driving the LX version. when playing from ipod and at the song name display, does the name scroll in the display of the unit? coz mine doesn't, and it always only show part of the song name. are there any ways to make it scroll?

I also prefer this than the factory fitted...but hor, the color of the HU screen might nt give the whole car a common colour theme though.

I think it is only able to display up to 10 or 12 characters of the song name. :(

headache , recalibate speedo = $$

change tyres at kah for the standard size = $$

change to 205/50/16 = change rims as well = $$$

either way, tyre is gonna cost quite abit when the time comes. else juz get the 195s and manually get used to our speedo diff. Lol.

haix~

think the city engine noise is more unrefined. Just gruff. I experienced this problem at e start too. But now like getting btter le. I expect it to improve after first servicing.

maomao ge, u went for 1st servicing liao? i sure hope e noise gets better after servincing. lol
