Collected my CP1 today !!!!!! Miss my old CM5 !!!!

What RON number petrol do you guys use? My SE said Shell-92 or Shell-95 is suffcient (manual stated RON 91 and higher is OK).

My old CM5 used Shell-98 at first and in the past 12 months or so, downgraded to Shell-95. No difference in performance.

Well, you could start another massive thread solely for CP owners and ask the mods to make it a sticky.

But if so, please remove the CM sticky.

As for a separate folder, it's possible but given the experience with the CM group, a sticky is more than enough...

So far how you feel about your CP1 compared to your CM5?

(1) Power about the same, pulling away from traffic lights - good low torque - but CM5 has a nice roar to the engine.

(2) CP1 ride seems more comfortable than CM5

(3) CP1 definitely more silent cabin as compared to CM5

(4) Have not 'kui vtec' yet - so can't comment on that

(5) Build quality better than CM5

(6) Wifey finds CM5 (passenger side) to have more space. I guess it's because the CP1 has a sloping firewall as compared to the CM5 which was more angular (I hope this description is clear).

Hi all,

Saw a White CP today during lunch time around Bukit Batok area. Does it belongs to any one from this forum? ...very new too. Did not check if it is CP1 or CP2...but nice to see another CP...cos it's so few !

And yes, CP2 & 3 comes with the anti-roll (strut) bar on the front suspension. I tried taking corner at high speed, pretty good. Overall, CPs has been designed with lower height according to Honda.

the front glass for the CP is thicker compared to the rear thus noise level is much reduced.

wow...that's a nice idea. but on a CP1, i guess it's not going to be "powerful" in terms of performance.
