can share some experience...
whenever starting my car in the cold morning, and waiting to warm up, i can see some white smoke coming out from the exhuast. is this normal???
and the heat generated is quite hot at the rear after end of my drive. cause whenever i parked my car, can feel that its real hot when i go to the boot and get things. not like my preivous ride ES.
is it normal cause it is 2.4?? need to generate more heat??
anyone have the same experience as me?
Never notice my exhaust in the morning bcos I got to sent my girls to school. I just jump in and go. Nonetheless I will try and take note of it on weekends when I don't leave the house so early. Would appreciate if you could check with KM and share with us if it is ok to have white smoke coming out. Some says it is ok while others says it could be sign of engine oil leaking into the cylinder.
Yes my CP 2 is very hot at the rear. Notice it when I wash the car when I reach my office and see steam coming out of the rear bumper when a wet cloth goes over it, near the exhaust.
check if the white smoke is really white smoke or water vapour from the condensation over night.nneeboon wrote:Hi vti magnesiumvti magnesium wrote:seems like there are more CP brothers coming in.

during early morning, before the sun heats up everything, its normal to have water vapour (looks like steam) coming from exhaust. good way to check is to put a plate at exos and see if water droplets collects. if not, drive the car for a while, and if its really water vapour, it should disappear after 10mins on the road. BUT if the white smoke persists, better go back to KM to get it fixed.
Struggle is the father of all things. It is not by the principles of humanity that man lives or is able to preserve himself above the animal world, but solely by means of the most brutal struggle. If you do not fight, life will never be won.

Re: Sound when releasing foot brake
Hi flatyre, flatyre wrote:Hi, My CP2 has driven almost 3000km. I noticed that whenever I wanted to move off from a complete stop, there will be a "tok" sound from the front. This sound can be heard the moment I release the foot brake. I suspect is from the front brakes. You guys got similar problems?
No such sounds heard from my ends. Pls send in to KM for checks, must get KM to carry out warranty liabilites. Good luck!

Yes, most agents provide 3 yrs/100,000kms warranty but the service card spells out that if you dont carry out the required maintenance services with them, the warranty is not valid. So, take some time to read your service card or booklet.nneeboon wrote:All buyers of Accord from KM automatically entitle to Accord Advantage Program and it is free. Besides that, read the manual. This is something the sales people did not tell you. When you press the unlock button on your key, a 2nd press and holding it will wind down all 4 windows simultaneously.
To wind back, you need to use the normal control at your doors. This is good for releasing hot air before getting into the car.
Enjoy!
Accord multi-function key
Hi weaver87,
Did you know that we can wind up our Accord CM windows with the key too? Insert the key into the driver side key hole and turn once to lock it, then turn another time & hold it to wind up all 4 windows.
And for the intermittent wiper mode, if you select the variable speed to the highest the wiper will stop sweeping when your car comes to a stop. And when you drives off the wipers will start sweeping again.

Hi everyone, here's my experience in connecting the iphone to the audio system of the CP2.
The car comes with the USB (female) port in the center arm rest compartment. ( A short length of wire was provided when I collect my car)
All u need is to plug in yr iphone or ipod USB (male) port into it and it will auto sync. The word IPOD will show in your audio system when u press "AUX" button. Use the big knob to control yr selection of yr playlist or album and u can play any songs u have in yr iphone or ipod.
When a phone call comes in, the music will fade away gradually. U need to use yr bluetooth to answer the call. After u hang up the call, the music will auto resume.
Hope u enjoy yr drive.
Cheers.
