Its my personal opinion since most of our cars are daily driven, and "safe" referring to corresponding probs that may crop up. when u stiffen 1 part of the car body, u may cause problems in other area of the car. Hard= brittle.
In yr example, stiff suspension wears off yr bushing faster. arb can change the steering characteristics & big ones place more stress on the chassis components

If ur engine is stock, 2.5" is abit too big.. yr exhaust gases shd be losing alot of velocity at low-mid rpms.

yea . engine is stock . if im gg to mod my engine a lil , can i keep this exos or change to smaller ?

boss, 2.5inch is quite big for a stock b16.
plus u haven tune yet.
thats the reason why u feel its too sluggish. =D

i would go for a power FC
but if low on budget, a emanage ultimate is good enuff. =)

2.5 is overkill. a full dc2r 2.25" will be perfect and u wont need to worry with annual inspection

Hello garilee... i have some question between B16B and B18CR.. Can pls help me..
I plan to stroke up my B16B to B18CR by changing the Crankshaft and conrod..
So do u know whether the Injector, Fuel pump, Oil pump or others engine part tat i need to change to B18CR's?? Ar there the same or different?

1) B18c crank
2) b18c con rods
3) b18c con rod bearings
4) b18c throttle body (b16b=60mm, b18c=62mm)
(the rest of b16b type r parts like timing belt, pumps etc. are all the same/compatible as b18c5)

hey bro, i just bought a 2nd hand Civic ESI '92, everything is fully stock and im new to this forum.
Any recommendations on how to increase power?
IHE wise, Open Pod + HS + CAI or just the stock air intake (recommendations on filters too, for open and drop in filter)? ,
Header 4-2-1 (is it legal for civics?),
Exhaust (is the stock mid pipe and exhaust good enuff?), lastly what kinda ecu is advisable, say in the range of under 1k including tuning and what are the overall gains if possible.
