Location of Man Exhaust

Post by ChowHousehold » Thu Mar 03, 2011 11:20 am

Hi Bros,

In case you are looking for alternative workshop besides Fong Kim for your exhaust issues, you can also check out Man Exhaust Works located at 11 Sin Ming Industrial Estate Sector B, #01-77, Singapore 575655.

I dropped by yesterday but did not have a chance to get my car diagnosed cos there were simply too many rides there in the queue.

Hope this helps. Cheers!

Official Supplier of Supersprint Exhaust that is the ONLY legal aftermarket louder and nice looking pipe is Jeep Chee. Unfotunately, a bro went there March 2011 to discover that they NO LONGER BRING IT IN on account that the ES is no longer the current model, and those who wanted the legal pipe already bot it... never account the used car market people may want to buy the ONLY legal pipe for the ES... anyways - they should still do official transfer so look out for it in the Want To Sell (WTS) folder as other ES owners dekit. Just make sure they did not operate the SS pipe and have the cert when you buy over. If need to swop - do consider it only after LTA chop on the paper the SS pipe is legal... else you stuck with no original pipe when inspection comes... can be very difficult.

Front Lower Ball Joint Replacement
contributed by bro Hysteria4u

Follow this link to see the part, and price in USD. can order also.

Has anyone replaced the lower ball joint (on the front knuckle) with this part? I understand that if using original part, need to replace the entire knuckle. I came across this after-market part from Moog, Part No: K90332. Installed, and found to be of good quality and more affordable replacement.

Heard from someone that for the D17A2 engine, changing the cam shafts will improve the bhp of the car as it allows for longer lift or something.

this is french to me and would like to seek seniors advise on this.

he claims that it can turn the D17A2 into somewhat of a B series feel.

Any senior bros can shed some light on this?

p/s: or have i just been rick rolled..

Sorry for the 2nd post, but since i'm on the topic of modding, can any bros share more about the performance of an open pod? i've heard stories about ECU tuning being able to remove the initial lag that the open pod is apparently known for as well as an "explosive" pull after 3k rpm. (quoted from someone.)

Thanks much! :)

For those who care, and insists on wheel installers put in your lug nuts manually and use a torque wrench to prevent over tigtening, and ensure it is tightened enough, ever ask how much torque to set??

the answer for ALL current Honda models i.e. 1990 - 2011 models...

80 ft/lbs

in comparison some toyota bigger sized suv reuires up to 105 ft/lbs torque for their lug nts, some lower at 75-95 ft/lbs...

can see this link for web answer...
