Honda Elysion in-depth Review of: The King of MPV
Are you referring to HDD Navi function? Hehe.. that was exactly what I wanted to avoid when ordering the factory am/fm/cd version. Perhaps other bros can advice you.Kaychan wrote:Hi.
However most mammoth task of all is the make as much use of the car controller of all different functions all in japs language.
Any advice?

There is also html manual online (translate online) which you can use http://www.honda.co.jp/manual/elysion/2 ... index.html
Re: My LCD Screen won't switch on!
[quote="riverdance"]Hello mt88 (or whoever else that can help me out!)…..my Elysion is a 2006 3.0L model with the HDD Navi package. Have owned it for about a year ago now (bought 2nd-hand parallel import unit with only 22k km).
There has been no problems whatsoever with the MPV until today. My LCD screen (in the center console) will NOT switch on when I start the car! Also, the mini panel next to it (to the top right side) that displays the digital clock (on Japan time) and indicates the audio/video/radio modes will NOT come on either. The bigger pain is that I am unable to use reverse rear-view camera since it relies on this same LCD screen! Thankfully, I have the beeping reverse sensor installed too.
The side-lighting for the LCD panel comes on (when the auto lights are turned on) though, lighting up a completely black screen.
Do you think the problem lies with the fuse for the audio/video unit being “burntâ€

Do you mean the passenger side glass? Since 2009 the glass become transparent type except the three on the back still tinted.sk123 wrote:bro mt88,
Is it possible for you to help to search the part catalog if there is any AS2 (clear tempered) glasses to replace those AS3 aka privacy glasses. I mean originals from Honda Jpn with UVS.
Regards.
Part numbers for the mid windows:
73400-SJK-000 (Right)
73450-SJK-000 (Left)
For glass, it is best for you to contact glass specialits. They have contact for oem glass supplier that works with Insurance companies. You must specify (it is an option in Jpn) for the clear glass when ordering.
Thanks for your reply. I mean all the privacy glasses, 5pcs of them; 2nd row left/right windows, 3rd row left/right windows and rear windscreen.
I am trying to gauge how much damage to my pocket if I were to get them in Spore. Msian dealers some say RM5-6k and some say RM6-7k. No definite answer coz I didn't commit to the purchase. China made ones are in the RM2k region with installation.

O2 Sensor
Dear mt88,
finally the problem solved, after replace the O2 sensor (no 10)
code NTK LHA:LZA08-H4 (5wired)
total cost USD 450
and now, the VCM works normal again
thank you very much for your suggestion.

All bearings replaced, front, rear, and shaft bearing. No more subtle roaring sounds and grinding sounds during breaking. Worth every penny of it
I can gladly report to Elysion owners that Honda doesn't skimp on quality for our shafts unlike other brands. It is big and solid with enforced material using rare earth metals. No wonder the drive shaft last long. Very happy to see it.
Front bearing 44300 SJK J01 (if not mistaken same to Civic R). The new improved version is all enclosed solid.
Shaft bearing 91057 SH3 008 is tricky to replace.
Shaft bearing, different parts no for 4 Cyl model
Rear Bearing 42200 SWB 951 for FWD model and 42200 SJL 951 for 4WHD enclosed type.
Parts cost around $20 for the shaft bearing to hundreds for the rear. Labor cost is around $250 at AD with general servicing and wheel allignment

Hello!
I can not solve a problem already long time.
At me Elysion 2.4 L 2004 with package HDD Navi.
At ignition inclusion can not work as radio, hours, a rear-view camera, dvd, the radio tape recorder, GPS-navigation - completely the dark screen and can and work that that one or two, as a rule only radio or hours. Happens at car inclusion everything works, but damp the car and get after again ceases to work. There are hours are engaged, and then will stand on one time.
As a rule when the car cold at inclusion works as radio, hours, DVD, but only will blank off the car and again will get – ceases to work.
All changes occur at inclusion / deenergizing / car inclusion.
Thankful in advance for the help, council.

Hi mt88,
I have a RR3 (2004). I have the same problem with the bearings as you. I just wonder which is the part number of the Rear Bearing for my RR3. You stated you have changed over the bearing too. The item number is 42200 SJL 951. Is it the one for RR3? I got a 42200 SJL 951 from Japan but it does not look the same as the original one my technician removed from my car.
The old one has sealed core but the new one is not. I am not sure if I got a correct bearing. Could you help?
Thanks in advance.
