If the effects are the same as Glare Singapore, that's certainly a huge savings.Ian wrote:1. Bought glare at S$30.
2. Went to JB to have it applied professionally at RM35 using machine.

My ride is satin silver as well. If your budget is below $200, you may want to try Zaino Bros. You can refer to http://www.cazcomp.com for details. I started using Zaino for my previous ride. What I did was to go for the 1st time professional grooming and thereafter DIY. The products are very easy to use and the effects are good.honda75 wrote:My ride's satin silver. Yes Zaino does serve as a sealant for the paintwork. As I said earlier, go for the one-time grooming package which comprises shampoo wash, clay bar, 3 layers of foundation coats using ZFX plus interior grooming. Thereafter you can DIY by buying Z2, Z6 and Z7. I stand by it that they are very easy to use and the effect is great. The total cost for the one-time grooming package and buying the 3 products for DIY is easily ½ of what you would pay for Glare. Refer to the web site for more details.honda75 wrote:Can you provide more details? Does Zaino Bros provide a sealant for the car paint? My impression is that they're pricey. How does it compare with Glare? I'm actually quite tempted from reading about glare, but seems like it costs 400+ a pop? but how long does that last?

The former should be 1 coat and the latter should be 3 coats. Zaino is non-abrasive and it builds on layers. The more coats you apply, the better is the effect. For me I would go for the ZFX package.honda75 wrote:Was quoted either $180.00 (Z-1/Z-2 system) or $210.00 (ZFX 3 coats system). Any comments on the difference between the two? Which one would you advise me to go for?

The only benefit of ZFX is that it allow the groomer to apply multi coat within a very short time to get the wet wet effect. It add as a accelerator. Subsequent coat in my opinion you do not need it.honda75 wrote:Been persuaded to enter into a package on Zaino. What do u guys think of $600 for five sessions using ZFX?
I personally uses Zaino product myself. I only use the Z2 and Z6. First treatment i send to Chandra but subsequent i DIY, easy and effortless. Do note that Z2 is a sealant not a cleaning agent. So if you do have black spot u need the claybar or any mild cleaning polish to clean off first.
