Bro...
When I used 205/45/16 during my run in period up to 10,000 km my average FC was 14.5 to 16.2 km/l
When I changed to 205/50/16 tyres, my FC drops to 12.8 - 14.2 km/l.
The smaller aspect of 45 vs 50 effectively makes the wheel smaller, and therefore rotates more revolutions per km than the 50 aspect tyre.
Your speedometer and odometer is also affected, reflecting an incorrect speed reading (at least 2 kmh higher than actual) and odometer reading error of at least 5%.
so your poll is useless as a data-gathering tool as none of the votes will be accurate.
I have also realised, after 25,000 km on the ES5, that different fuels affect different FC readings. Even same brand fuel, 95 vs 98 vs VPower/Platinium (for eg) will affect different FC - assuming your driving habits dun change with different fuels used. Without keeping fuel constant, the variations are too much to be of use to anyone. Added to allowing different wheel diameters as well as tyre pressure... well... this is just a popular poll, with no real basis for comparison.

After a while, you won't even bother about the FC issue. Used to note down the number of litres pumped and how much is the mileage. but after some time.....what the heck. Why waste time doing this non-value adding task.samwng wrote:Wat FC u get when u fitted 16" Sports Rim ?

Hatred isn't something you're born with,it gets taught. At 7 years of age, you get told it enough times, you believe it, You believe the hatred. You live it,you breathe it,you marry it.
