Respray cam cover
Kindly advise which workshop do respray cam cover ah? One chap told me DIY using Plastidip but I doubt paint can stand high temp leh so I prefer Pro to do it with proper process but don't know who leh

Any idea how much would it cost? Color yellow spoon and btw mine is D-series.

Your under bonnet is painted no? Inside the engine compartment is also painted.
Any paint shop can do it nicely

One respray workshop recommended by my insurer told me cam cover need to take out so he can sand down the top layer then apply base coat follow by few layers of main color, no need lacquer.
I don't know how skillful he is to dismantle cam cover as I heard before once u remove cam cover, gasket has 2b replaced.

He's not a mechanic just a painter nia.

Try a painter with a workshop beside that can remove the cam cover.
Or find a workshop that have a paint shop near by.
I am sure your regular servicing workshop can recommend a competent painter. He will then take out the cam cover and send it to the paint shop for you.
