Electrostatic touchscreen climate control (Jazz 2015/16)

Hi,
I would like to check if anyone has had any issues with the touch penal climate control and touch display in the new jazz? I have been using aircon knobs for years and has yet to use the new digital display system. Do these things spoil easily let's say a few years down the road?
