Replacement of CV joints/shaft

Hi guys,
A few months ago I broke my left cv shaft and the wheel screwed my fender up. A workshop that I desperately found repaired it and quoted me a price of 1.8k, did I get chopped or is that a reasonable price? Looking to replace the other side cus its quite worn too...
