weird sound coming from engine when startup

Dear all, whenever the engine is cold and i start the engine (fd1a) there is this weird noise (eeeeeee) coming from the engine even when I'm travelling at slow speed. But after the engine is warm enough the sound stop. Is it the water pump or belt? Pls advice. Thanks for the help

You should monitor.. if it starts to make noise when turning .. or heavy steering, it could be due to power steering issues.
Read quite a lot of posts on this in SHC. You can check to see whether any similarities.

Hi, i have similar problem and it is diagnosed as the oil leak in my power steering assembly. Kah quoted me 3000+ for the replacement of the power steering assembly , kind of high for my 8 years old honda odyssey. Any one has any better alternative to repair this problem or cheaper place to replace the part?
