Wont be using the hondalink, gotta purchase the Navigation map at a price tag $94.98.
Think I'll go for the HDMI cable to mirror image the phone display on the screen.

When are you getting your car?

I collected my ride last week after a four plus month wait. Understand frm the license plate contractor tha there are more than a 100 units on the road.

Tell me if the strut bars really works. Dont see a reason for it if i dont take corners above 80km.

Just to share, I found this Odyssey takes the corner better than the previous Gen. Less roll in my opinion eventhough it is taller.

Yes, drove my previous Ody for 7 years and replaced it this March with the new Ody EXV-S. The new version is much more stable ride and stronger feel.

Ride arrive last week. Anyone find the Odyssey noisy? My last ride was a Subaru Lagecy and it's much quieter. Maybe I'm not use to Ody sound after driving my legacy for 8 years. One more thing, air-con compressor vibration can be felt! Is that the case for any of your ride? I find it rather annoying. Change rim and tire and that may have contributed to some road noise be using Yokohama advan DB v551.
Any recommendation on a good workmanship audio shop cos ride is new and not much shop has experience in taking apart the car. Sale lady told me to becareful when modding the car audio cos the HU is rather complicated and someone shorted the HU. Lastly, anyone know a good shop that is able to sound proof the entire car please let me know.
Will update the strut bar and side re-enforcement bar from Coscu when my parts arrive. Meanwhile lets trade tips on the new ody.
Oh! The ody does not have a temp gauge!!!!!!! It will only show overheating sign!

Yes the engine sound is quite audible but my previous car was much noisier so this is acceptable to me plus i actually like to hear the engine rev lol. Did you check if kah motors has any issues with modifications, or is yours a PI car?

Did you get 18 or 19inch rims?

Maybe I just want to change the speakers only n not install amp. Will ask Kah motor if the warranty still valid if I just change speakers. Stock speakers really very crappy.
I changes to 18" rims, 19 will be nice but since the ride is quite stiff therefore it's no advisable to change to 19 else it will b super bumpy n noisy!

im thinking of changing to slightly wider 225/55/17 to get more cornering & brake grip... i prefer to keep the 17s for comfort reasons.

yea the stock speakers dont have much definition. if ure just changing the speakers, maybe just get good components with good frequency range so no need to put amp etc coz once u do that u def need soundproofing to get the right acoustic.
