my rpm went up n down when idle and when I on the air con. wash throttle already still have problem. workshop bro tell me is the vaccum sensor or switch. any one encounter this ? I heard from him need few hundreds to repair. I need alt if expert can give me some advice.

try taking out your throttle body(beware, do not drop and lose the thin metal piece (gasket), theres this small black thingy screwed onto the TB.
thats the idling valve.

carb spray the tb, idling valve, anything thats movable.

if the silver piece that looks like a roller thingy is not rolling smooth, use a fine sandpaper and sand off the carbon.

if not comfortable to diy, bring to your mech and tell him you wanna wash your tb and idling valve.

if problem still persists, den it might really be ann air leak.

Whatever so called WS, said clean TB ...but got clean IACV or not?

what car what make what model, what size what age?

tb clean already . model DC5 . the mech say either is open pod intake sensor or is the vacuum one.took out the spark plug and the ignition thiny . say need change.

clean the MAF sensor with the right solution, wash throttle body without cleaning MAF sensor might be a little useless. As the "metered" reading of air is still not accurate, even when u wash the throttle body idling might still hunt. IMHO, check coil plugs for voltage delivery also when changing your spark plugs. Clean the MAF sensor and monitor for a few days to see if goes away. there is no "hard and fast rule" to what is wrong in your case as it could be a number of things. Try shooting the issue from the cheapest "solution" first. You might just hit the right nail without spending a bomb.
