Thread on the bolts had worn out

Post by paxidorm » Tue Apr 30, 2013 8:05 pm

Hi, I realised the thread on the bolts used to tighten the engine cover had worn out. Anyone know whether it is easy to get them replaced?

if it is simple bolt, lots of OEM screw/bolt shop. If it is unique, just order it thru KM lor.
Pls dont ask me for wkshop, as I know none...I only know it is safer and faster to fix cars on my own.

Hmm...The bolts I am referring to are mounted into the engine. Only the nuts could be removed whenever taking out the engine top cover.

Cheaper alternative buy the die tap to rethread ur bolt threads. Avail at most diy shop.
