power steering fluid level drop

my cp1 power steering fluid in the reservoir drop to below min level and i can see traces of the fluid on my rubber boot of the drive shaft. any bro having this problem? is my power steering pump going to kapootzz? :?

Yes bro, I think you better get it fixed. My 5yrs old ride just fixed this issue, I guess it a common wear and tear problem for CP1. Luckily is one of those minor issue.

PS pump needs to change, prepare 1k for Kah motor for 3 items

Bro richcel, Kah motor told me both the pump and power steering rack are leaking. Was just quoted by them SGD2470 for both parts and labour. :shock: Did you change both as well?

no, mine is only pump leak,i only get the repair kit to fix the PS pump which cost approx 100+. ah heng fix it for me.

I'll be changing the power steering pump repair kit as well. Was quoted about S$200 for parts and labour by an outside workshop. But I was told changing the repairkit may not last. So far any problem with yours after changing?

You can go to Honda agent at JB which just after Taman sentosa along the road side
Locate beside BH, shell station
My CP brought from there, repair or service still cheaper then Kah Motor
You can drive there and ask for quotation, all service staff very friendly and understand English
Just drive straight to the service bay and not to the show room

So far so good it,d been fixed 4mths ago but touch wood la.
Ya if you wanna have a peace of mind just get a new replacement.

Hi Maskedrider, what's the name of the shop? Yong Ming? BTW what is BH?

I will change the repairkit just like you la. Changing the whole unit is expensive. BTW where is the workshop you had yours repaired?
