Hondata Flashpro for JDM CU2

Post by karlmax » Mon Dec 03, 2012 6:24 pm

hi guys

just to share with you.

after i tuned the CU2 in Australia, my friend in Singapore told me that he wanted to try and get his car tuned too. initially, i had my reservations and told him prior to the tune that he MIGHT not get any gains at all.

in any case, he decided that he wanted to take the chance and we went ahead with it. i have to say, we are both pleasantly surprised. this car is TOTALLY STOCK, with the exception of 18" sport rims.

dyno chart as shown below. before and after tune.

big gains can be seen from 4200rpm onwards, and some point, more than 13-15whp was achieved!

I believe with modifications on the air intake, cat delete etc and with FlashPro tuning, CU2 will become a much better car to drive about.

Joel have also done a tuning on a Euro S in Australia - http://tsx.acurazine.com/forums/showthread.php?t=871669

the australian car had some other mods to it, so it made bigger gains.

injen cold air intake
crazy loud free flowing custom exhaust
RSP intake manifold from FN2

i think a cat delete would do wonders on this car.

free up the headers and you can feel quite a bit more horses.

but generally frowned upon by our authorities
