Calling all CL7 Owner,
My ride- 2006 CL7 Auto . I need advice on vibrations issue ; I had just serviced my car
1) Engine / gearbox flushed
2) Throttle body cleaned
3) Spark plugs changed
4) Installed Power charger
5) Installed Voltage Stabilizer + Grounding wire
6) Engine mounting checked
but it doesn't solve the vibrations problem

- The vibrations can be felt through steering , driver's seat ,gear lever compartment when idling & awhile after stopping, it comes & goes , it is more serious when A/con is on.
Has anyone out there experienced the same problem

Heard of
idle surbo ? I would like to know if it is something to do with the
Throttle position sensor or idle control valve ?

if it's ICV, ur rpm wouldn't be stable. you would encounter near stalling condition.
it could be ur engine mounts. Chk the big one next to the engine block and the one behind it, when you are facing the engine bay.
Hope this helps...

Hi Bro,
Tks for your reply , but i had the engine mountings double checked & the mechanic said it is in good cond. Can you think of something else ?

Hi bro,
Now when I m braking/slowing down , sometimes it come with a slight sudden drop and raise again on d rpm. And I had experienced a few times of like hasitatient in acceleration, not picking up speed smoothly. Now may b should try checking the TPS again.

that could be possible too. My colleague cleaned his throttle body and in the process, the tps came off. When he start the engine, the rpm rise to 1000rpm. When he on the aircon, it rev higher and came back down.
Then realised the tps was out.
Now what I am unsure is the vibration is due to engine parameters out of anomaly or it's the hardware giving some symptoms of failure.

ICV is the possible culprit
