Actually do at KM is ok price and use KM original parts.

some workshops outside will actually charge HIGHER than KM if you dunno the pricing.

KM major service (timing belt) package is around $1k (all inclusive as listed on the package on the service manual)

outside if you do - buy your own parts SGD$400, Fluids (engine oil and filter, Radiator Fluid) $80-$200, Labour $$160-$250 you could save a few hundred bucks.

if changing enging mounts there are FOUR pieces. not 3... total for the 4 pcs SGD$270 - $320 or thereabouts... for the parts... Labour for engine mounts change is (you got to find out... maybe cheaper if done on whole package)

Shocks OEM can cost you up to $1k for the KYB adjustables, lowest price also almost SGD$800 for KYBs or Monroe or Tokiko... If you can find Showa, they are 'original OEMs'

Or you can go for premium shocks from Ohlins or Bilsteins (last I heard Bilsteins need a 3-4 month wait...)

hope the above information helps

Mai post pic Liao my keyboard stain wif blood from my nose oridy.

KM cannot bargain, their parts are fix, once parts are indented from store and keyed in the system, automatically will totaled up the bill, beyond the adviser control. If you minus some parts to cut cost they might not give u a full service warranty. KM is just slightly higher den outside in costing but they don't miss out any parts.

Got a fella's ES5 from my factory, done 80k wif some bandit workshop, I suspect they onli tighten and check all the beltings without replacing, snapped less den a year, koyak 6 piston, how to point finger when driver know nuts oso. Lup recon engine cos his loan is 10yrs, even car go to scrapyard on the 10th year, still go to pay one last installment.

Last month met him, told me engine warped, leaking, so Lup engine again but this time a 1.7 vtis, told me the car now Jin Ho lat, told him to keep the engine for me if he scrap his ride. Total 2 engine $4k.
